The model was developed and built at Stern-Radio Leipzig as "RFT-unit super 4U62" and represents a further development of the 4U61.
The production was relocated to Funkwerk Dresden and Stern-Radio Staßfurt. Three variants of the power supply are known: UY11 or dry rectifier (add-on (T), without / with thermistor. Also in a press body. The name "standard super" was used for superhet receivers developed after 1945 in the "western occupation zones" |
